Episode 348 James Dekoker: "Breaking Barriers at the Nevada 1000"
History is in the making as the American Trike Team gears up for the Nevada 1000—a grueling 908-mile desert race across the harsh terrain of Nevada, all in a single day and on three wheels.
This record-setting attempt will be the longest one-day desert race ever for a 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler in the U.S. Featuring Luke Peterson, Donnie Pulliam, Mike Wise, Kevin Advook, and Aden Lipham, the team will pilot machine #476—first off the line in their class.
With a 3:00 AM start time and a specially deviated route for handlebar-equipped vehicles, the American Trike Team will have a 7-hour window before the cars and trucks roar to life. It’s a test of endurance, strategy, and pure grit.
